“Your caregiver has been absolutely amazing. She allowed our family to leave in July and relax for the first time in a very long time. She has been a positive influence in Judy’s life over the last six months and our entire family absolutely loves her….You came highly recommended but I had no idea how much your agency would impact our family.”

Jeff Schweikert

President & CEO
jeffJeff started Home Care Assistance in St. Louis in 2006 following a 24 year career in communications and high tech with MCI.  Jeff’s own parents began to experience health issues.  During the merger of MCI and Verizon and contemplating a move, Jeff became interested in starting his own business focused on providing high quality services to assist others during a health crisis or to age in place and the rest is history.

Jeff still has a passion for technology and continues to ensure it is integrated in every part of the company possible with a focus on simplicity and reliability.  Jeff has served multiple terms on the Home Care Assistance Franchise Advisory Council and locally he is a member of Vistage, works with Memory Care Home Solutions on their Business Strategies Task Force and the Missouri Baptist Medical Center Community Advisory Board and was the founder of the St. Louis Home Care Alliance.  He is also a Corporate Partner of the Aging Life Care Association.

Jeff grew up in central Missouri on a farm.  He has three children, Zoe, Christian and Nico.  He and Betty enjoy staying active with the kids and all of their activities.

Sharon Greenstein-Gorman CMC

Director, Client Services
Sharon has the distinction of being the “senior” member of the team at Home Care Assistance as she was the first person Jeff hired back in 2006. Experience matters, especially in an industry of change. Then again maybe she knows she’s in the best position to literally ‘age in place.’

Prior to Geriatrics, Sharon spent time climbing the walls as a muralist in both commercial and residential spaces.

When not working, or not saying no to various board meetings and events, Sharon loves spending time with her dog Shadow, husband Mike and 4 children…not in that order, most of the time. Sharon is most proud of the diet and exercise plan she starts each and everyday…until about 3pm in the afternoon when the binge begins!

You can follow Sharon on nothing since Facebook often challenges her…but check back soon after one of the children shows her what to do.

Carrie Burggraf MS PA-C

Director, Client Services

carrieCarrie grew up on a college campus, Alderson Broaddus University, and left home as an adult with three degrees.

She thought she would be a teacher but fell in love with Anatomy and Physiology, which started her journey as a physician assistant. After working in women’s health and family medicine, she specialized in geriatrics and internal medicine because she thinks older people have so much to contribute.

While raising kids, Carrie was very active with her kids in the Rockwood School District, at SLUH and at Washington University in St. Louis.

Today, when she isn’t working with inspiring clients who need help at home, she loves to cycle, bake homemade cinnamon rolls and apple pie, and travel with her husband to visit their adult sons on the East coast.

Unknown-4-2Georgia is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health with a focus in improving quality of life for the aging population at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to relocating to St. Louis earlier this year, she received her Bachelors in Public Health from University of South Carolina. She has always had a passion for serving the aging community and makes it her life-long goal to continually improve intergenerational relationships in today’s generationally-segregated society. She cannot wait to see where this great adventure we call life takes her next!
